The Chamber serves as the largest and most active voice of the Aurora business community.  We offer programs and services to help you do business better.  One voice raised in defense of a right, or one person or business taking on a project, is often weak and ineffectual.  But when many voices are raised and many people work together in community affairs much is achieved.  Whether you have "just a little time" to volunteer or "lots" of time to volunteer, our Chamber serves a wide variety of tangible reasons to join.  We invite you to become involved and participate in our organization!

Networking Opportunities

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce provides a number of both informal and organized networking opportunities.  Networking events are planned to fit the varying needs of members and frequently include neighboring Chamber members as well as our own members and guests

Marketing

The Aurora Chamber publishes a newsletter containing information that pertains to Chamber events, increasing business success, and news and notes from current members.  In addition the website offers a list of our member businesses, and their contact information.  We can also create a link to you company's website for additional exposure of your business.

Business Referrals

The Chamber office receives calls daily seeking information about businesses in the area.  We refer them to all members within a category listing or closely associated listing.  All businesses are added to our referral list upon joining the membership

Community Involvement

As a viable community organization, the Chamber is involved and encourages its members to become involved in the community and its organizations.  The Chamber Scholarship committee, Business and Community EXPO and Aurora WineFest are just a few of our Community Efforts.  Once involved with the Chamber you will find so many opportunities to be a part of Aurora.

Membership Directory

Upon joining the Chamber, each new member receives an Aurora Membership Directory as well as a Portage County Business Directory.  The Website also contains a current list of Chamber members and contact information.

Member-to-Member Discounts

Members are encouraged to invest in Chamber businesses or "buy Chamber" when shopping for products or services.  We provide at no cost a listing of Member-to-Member discounts.

Direct Mailing and Labels

Members have the opportunity to use Chamber resources to save time and money on direct mail advertising.  Membership labels and/or lists are available one time per year per member at no cost with 24 hour notice.  Additional labels may be purchased.

Promote Tourism

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau attends leisure and travel shows to promote tourism and actively participates in "Adventures in Northeast Ohio" to promote the Aurora area and directly bring visitors to your businesses.

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce believes that Chamber membership is the best way to build your business network and strengthen the business community. Only through meeting other Chamber members can you begin to understand the full power of your investment. To encourage your involvement in the Chamber, the Board of Directors has approved a money back guarantee for all members.

To activate this guarantee, new members must meet with The Aurora Chamber Executive Director for an orientation session and participate in at least four (4) of the following activities:

·    Attend (1) Business after Hours

·    Participate in the Aurora Community Expo

·    Participate in the 3Chamber Business to Business Show
